MOON PHASE and Step under the moonlight have this gorgeous late-night atmosphere, soft synths layered over delicate piano. Then HEAT WAVE and CRAZY PHANTOM slam in with aggressive energy that totally breaks the mood. The way music box strips everything back to bare melody is.
Honestly heartbreaking in context. Go Go! Ladybug closing the album is the weirdest tonal shift and somehow it works. VN fans who love when soundtracks mirror narrative chaos need to hear this.
