Falcom really said let's take the Trails in the Sky score and turn it into a full vocal album, and it absolutely works. Sora no Kiseki's vocal arrangements bring that mid-2000s J-pop polish to compositions that already had so much heart.

"Silver Will, Golden Wings" hits different with vocals layered over that iconic melody, the kind of thing that makes you stop what you're doing and just listen. "Lumière dans Dédale" goes full French art-pop and somehow fits perfectly.
Then "Whereabouts of the Stars" comes in quiet and just... stays with you. The "Less Vocal" versions on disc two are perfect for when you want the arrangements without the singing. Essential listening if Trails ever made you feel something.
