"Hellfire" from the original Soul Edge still goes absurdly hard. "Phantasmagoria" and "Twilight Dwellers" represent SCIV's orchestral ambitions. "Unwavering Resolve" brings that SCIII energy. 25 tracks that basically function as a curated history of how Nakatsuru and the Namco sound team evolved from arcade synth to full orchestra over a decade.
If you only grab one Soul series compilation, this covers a shocking amount of ground.
