Nakatsuru composed this whole score to bounce between overwhelming intensity and brief moments of calm. "Hubris Reprise" strips the original down to its core motif, letting the melody sit exposed. "Whispers of the Sword" is pure tension-building, strings trembling before the next clash.
The arcade-to-console pipeline on this one was flawless, every track punching well above PS2 weight class. If you already own one SCII soundtrack, this version fills in the gaps you didn't know existed.
