Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly Official Soundtrack

2002 · Playstation 2

Enter the Dragonfly gets a lot of flak for its gameplay but this tiny seven-track soundtrack carries a vibe that's hard to dismiss. Stewart Copeland's percussive fingerprints are still here, and tracks like "Karma" and "Fiddle" keep that rhythmic playfulness the series is known for.

"Andes" brings pan flute textures that feel distinctly different from the earlier Spyro scores, leaning into world music flavors. "Mid Flute" opens things with a breezy confidence. The whole thing is short, almost frustratingly so, which makes you wonder what a full-length score could have been.

"Dobrow" and "Songer" groove in ways that remind you Copeland was a Police drummer first and a game composer second. Worth revisiting if you wrote this one off with the game.
