SQUARE ENIX MUSIC Presents Life Style: cry...

2016 · Android, iOS, PS Vita, Playstation

"A Flower Blooming in the Slums" reimagines Aerith's Theme with this fragile acoustic intimacy that wrecks you.

"Ashes of Dreams" from NieR carries Emi Evans' haunting vocal in English over sparse accompaniment. "Noel's Theme - Final Journey" from FFXIII-2 builds with quiet determination. Chrono Cross shows up with "The Girl Who Stole the Stars" and its bittersweet melodic ache.

"Casualties of War" just sits in grief without resolution... Designed literally as background music for having a good cry. Effective for anyone who's ever gotten emotional over a save file.
