Lee Jackson built the Stargunner soundtrack in FastTracker 2 and it sounds like pure mid-90s Apogee confidence. This was the last game released under the Apogee label before they became 3D Realms, and the music has that same "end of an era" energy.

Each episode gets a trilogy of tracks: the Stellar parts run on driving, spacey MOD patterns while the Aquatic stages dip into murkier, bass-heavy territory. The Stargunner Theme itself is catchy in that effortless tracker-music way where you hum it without realizing.
"Spend More Money" as a track title is peak 90s shareware humor. If you grew up downloading Apogee demos and hearing that fanfare, this soundtrack is a direct line back to that feeling.
