"Castle Jam" has this bouncy, almost folk-dance energy that makes placing walls and towers feel oddly joyful. "Dark Time" and "Paranoia" shift into tension when sieges hit, with lower strings and minor keys doing the heavy lifting.
"Two Mandolins" is just lovely. The whole thing feels handcrafted, like someone scoring a period film rather than a PC game. If you played Stronghold back in 2001 and these melodies still live rent-free in your head, this HD release is worth revisiting.
