Summer Days ORIGINAL SOUND TRACK

2006 · Windows

Mid-2000s synth pads humming under a piano melody that sounds like the last week of summer vacation feels. Summer Days is 0verflow's companion piece to School Days, scored by KIRIKO and HIKO, and the BGM carries that same mix of beach-episode warmth and creeping romantic tension.

"A Story That Begins at the Sea" floats with soft guitar arpeggios and light percussion, pure coastal afternoon energy. "Festival Music" bounces with taiko-adjacent drums and flute, capturing that shrine visit atmosphere.

Then "Self-Righteousness" and "Refuse" shift into darker, more confrontational territory as the drama escalates. The piano arrangement of the title theme that closes the album strips away all the production and just... sits there.

If you know where School Days goes and want to hear the calm before that storm, this is the soundtrack living in denial of what's coming.
