Boss GGO hits with electronic aggression while Boss ALO goes bright and almost whimsical by comparison. The mood tracks are where it gets interesting though. Setsunai carries this quiet ache that the word literally means, and Despair actually earns its name with heavy low strings.
Asuna Hospital is devastatingly gentle. The scenario tracks like Scenario 03 Christmas and Scenario 07 Sky Diving are wild deep cuts most players probably heard once during a limited event. SAO Boss Hard just goes off. If you missed Memory Defrag, this OST is all that's left and it deserved better.
