The Intro trilogy builds tension across three parts like a slow-burn alien invasion doc. Tactical Battle has this tense, almost mechanical pulse that made every turn feel like your squad's last. Terror Briefing is genuinely unsettling, all anxiety and no comfort.
Then Victory hits and the relief is enormous because you earned it through hours of that oppressive sound design. If you grew up saving the world on a 486, hearing these tracks remastered is like unlocking a time capsule.
