Those SNES sound chip horns on the Tactics Ogre Overture still give me chills every single time. Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masaharu Iwata wrote a score that punches way above 16-bit limitations. Chaotic Island has this anxious energy with layered percussion that makes you feel the political unrest in your gut.

Air Land shifts into something almost meditative, these warm pads floating over gentle arpeggios that let you breathe between battles. Then Avilla Henya drops back into intensity with that driving bassline. Ten tracks is a tight selection from the full OST but they nailed the picks.
