Notice of Death hits with this weight that the SNES version could only hint at, heavy brass and somber strings that make permadeath feel real. Prayer is hauntingly sparse, just voices and minimal accompaniment carrying enormous emotional gravity.
Deathrattle layers aggressive orchestral stabs over driving rhythms that feel almost cinematic. Autumnal Sky brings warmth with gentle woodwinds over soft strings. The contrast between the peaceful and violent tracks mirrors the game's moral complexity perfectly.
If you've played any version of Tactics Ogre, this is the soundtrack to own.
