Straight up named after a Miles Davis album and it earns the reference. Tantei Jinguji Saburo: Kind of Blue is the PS2 Jake Hunter entry that goes all in on jazz, and the soundtrack commits completely. Just Bourbon and Jazz-Toast sound like they belong in a dimly lit bar at closing time.

The title track Blue, Over the Blue gets four different arrangements including a live version, and each one recontextualizes the melody. Violet Cocktail is smooth enough to pour over ice. Then Moonless Night and Rainy Pain pull the mood into darker territory, real tension underneath the cool exterior.
Deep Blue Bloom somewhere in between. If you want a PS2 detective soundtrack that feels like a late-night jazz session, this is the one.
