Technosoft GAME MUSIC COLLECTION VOL.22 ~ ThunderForce II 2014 Original Sound Track

2014 · Genesis / Mega Drive, Saturn, Switch

That Mega Drive FM synth just hits different when Technosoft is driving. ThunderForce II's 2014 remastered collection pushes the original Sharp X68000 and Genesis tracks through a modern pass and the results are raw. "Knights of Legend" opens with this almost prog-rock energy squeezed out of the YM2612 chip, and "EXCEED" keeps that intensity locked in with rapid arpeggios that feel like they're chasing you through space.

"A Ray of Hope" pulls back just enough to breathe before everything goes loud again. The "Take off One's Gloves 2014" rework at the end is a nice touch. If you've blasted through ThunderForce III and IV but skipped the one that started it all, fix that.
