Elemental Master's opening track "Great Spirit Overture" announces itself with this dramatic FM synth fanfare that sounds massive coming out of a Genesis. Technosoft's Toshiharu Yamanishi brought the same intensity here that made Thunder Force legendary, but with a dark fantasy twist.

"Dance of Flame" on Stage 1 has this driving rhythm layered with melodic leads that feel almost prog rock. "Blood-Stained Lake" goes full gothic with haunting tones over heavy percussion. The boss themes hit especially hard, "Calling on the Dark Dragon King" just radiates menace.
There's a theatrical quality to the whole soundtrack that most Mega Drive games never attempted. If you thought Technosoft only did sci-fi bangers, this fantasy detour will change your mind completely.
