This collection is all over the place in the best way. TECHNOuchi Encyclopedia 1997-2004 compiles Technouchi's work across a bunch of smaller projects, and the range is honestly staggering. "Can U Feel Me" opens with this slick, confident electronic groove that immediately sets a vibe.
The Laser Electronic Optics tracks get more experimental, layered synth textures that feel almost industrial. Then you hit the character themes for what sound like short animations or mini-games, stuff like "ジャム夫" and "河童," and the energy shifts to playful and quirky.
"God of Funk -Deep Inside Mix-" closes things out with a deep house feel that goes way harder than expected. A scattered tracklist but never boring. Worth digging through if you like Japanese electronic music that refuses to sit still.
