Way more introspective than the first Encyclopedia. TECHNOuchi Encyclopedia 2007-2014 covers a later period of Technouchi's work and you can hear the maturity in every track. "Un Parc Pluvieux" has this gorgeous, rainy-day atmosphere with gentle piano and ambient textures layered underneath.
"So the World Might be Mended" carries real emotional weight, slow and deliberate. Then "Catastrophe" and "Souls of Fire" bring back some intensity, sharper edges cutting through the calm. "彩" in its piano-only version strips everything bare and it still holds up.
The closing track "Satisfy -Galaxy Dub-" drifts into deep, spacey territory that feels like a proper sendoff. Only 14 tracks but each one earns its spot. Perfect late-night headphone music for anyone who appreciates electronic composers who know when to pull back.
