Austin Wintory brought the whole weight of a dying world to Banner Saga 3's score and you can feel it in every track. This is the finale of the trilogy and the music knows it. "Darkness Rises" hits with these low strings and vocals that sound like a funeral march for an entire civilization.

The combat tracks like "Steel Flowing as Water" keep that Norse folk instrumentation but push it harder, more desperate than the first two games ever got. "Trees Cannot Grow in a Moonless Sky" is just devastating. Then "On the Promises of Twilight" pulls everything together with this bittersweet resolution that actually earned its emotion.
If you fought through all three games, this soundtrack is the send-off those characters deserved.
