"Diptera Sonata" sets the basement tone with this droning, buzzing synth loop that genuinely sounds like flies. "Hericide" goes full throttle for the Satan fight with distorted guitars and pounding drums that match the chaos on screen.
"Viscera" makes the Womb floors feel exactly as fleshy and wrong as they look. "Everlasting Hymn" in the Cathedral is almost beautiful in a deeply unsettling way. Every floor having its own distinct sonic identity keeps hundreds of runs from ever feeling stale.
Essential listening if you've sunk 500+ hours into this game and want to relive the dread.
