"The Ancient City" builds with these sweeping strings and woodwinds that give you genuine awe at alien architecture. "Underwater Cavern" drops into deep ambient territory with echoing tones and slow brass swells. "Cathedral of the Lost" closes things out with this grand, sorrowful theme that just lingers.

The whole score treats its alien world with such reverence and scale. If you grew up on LucasArts adventures, this is the one that proved games could sound like cinema.
