Purgatory is where it turns. Sustained tones that just hover and refuse to resolve. Through The Canyon opens up with more space but keeps that emotional weight pressing down. The whole score moves from denial to forgiveness and you can literally hear that arc in the way the instrumentation softens by Cabin By The Lake.
