PS1 orchestral ambition pouring out of a game about floating continents crumbling into the sea. The Granstream Saga delivered this sweeping 1998 score that swings between hope and collapse with every track. "Land of the Skies ~ World of the Setting Sun" opens with this enormous sense of scale that late-90s RPGs did so well.

"Cut Your Way" is a battle theme with real urgency, tight and relentless. The split between "Ending A" and "Ending B" gives you two completely different emotional payoffs depending on your choices. Those town themes shifting before and after events.
If you were deep into PS1 action RPGs and missed this one, the soundtrack alone makes a case for going back.
