Ok this soundtrack has no business going this hard for a visual novel. The House in Fata Morgana's OST is mostly Portuguese and Italian folk-influenced vocal tracks and it sounds like nothing else in games. "Cetoniinae" opens with this raw acoustic guitar and vocals that feel like they're pulling something out of you.

Then "Acherontia Styx" shifts into this tense, almost suffocating atmosphere that matches the horror side of the story perfectly. The way "The Maid" exists in both an effected and pure piano version tells you everything about how carefully this was composed.
Genuinely unsettling at times. If you've been sleeping on visual novel soundtracks, this is the one that will change your mind about the whole genre.
