Dark, theatrical, and completely unhinged production from mifumei. Babel is volume 40 of the Starlight Master series and it sounds like it belongs in a completely different franchise. The vocal performance leans dramatic and the arrangement keeps building in these spiraling layers that never quite resolve where you expect.

"STAR" by TAKT brings you back to brighter territory, and Shuhei Tsubota's "Kimi no Seishun wa Kagayaiteiru ka" is pure youthful sincerity. "Kaze ni Naritai" by Wataru Oiwa closes with something more wistful. A breath after the chaos.
The karaoke version of Babel honestly hits different because you can hear every bizarre production choice mifumei made. If you think idol game music can't get weird, this one will change your mind.
