Road Rage I in slow motion turns that frantic Crazy Taxi energy into something almost hypnotic. The GBA Simpsons Theme pitched down is genuinely eerie, all crunchy handheld audio stretched into ambient territory. Evergreen Terrace hits different at half speed, the melody floating like a fever dream version of Springfield.
The Performance Mode variants add another layer of weirdness on top. Sunday Drive becomes this lazy, hazy crawl through town. If you're into the whole slowed + reverb subculture, hearing it applied to a 2001 cartoon driving game is peak absurdity.
