Ghost of Yōtei is already building anticipation and this single character theme for Toma Otowa proves Sucker Punch knows exactly what they're doing with the audio direction. The track blends traditional Japanese instrumentation with something more modern and brooding, like shakuhachi over a low tension hum that never fully resolves.

It sits in this uneasy space between honor and threat. You can practically feel the Hokkaido snow. Just one track from what's clearly a much bigger sonic world they're constructing for the PS5 sequel. If Ghost of Tsushima's soundtrack had you pausing gameplay just to listen, Yōtei is already signaling it's going to do the same thing all over again.
