The escalation through the 混沌の魔城 castle tracks is relentless, each one darker and more aggressive than the last. "魔神凶葬曲" at the very end feels like a victory lap for a composer who just scored an entire war. Character themes for Reimu, Yukari, Byakuren, and Meiling give each heroine their own flavor too.
