Tomoyo After Original SoundTrack

2005 · Windows

That opening piano in "Light Colors" will ruin you if you've played the game. Tomoyo After is a Key/VisualArts VN from 2005 and the soundtrack carries that same gut-punch emotional weight as Clannad. "Dear Old Home" does this gentle acoustic thing that feels like looking at old photographs, and then the piano arrangement version strips it down even further until it's almost unbearable.

"Harmony With Sorrow" is where it really gets you though. The way it takes the warmth from earlier tracks and just. Dims it. Even the battle tracks like "Destroyer" have this desperate edge underneath the energy. If Clannad's music ever made you stare at the ceiling for twenty minutes, Tomoyo After will do it again.
