Sugary sweet vocal tracks backed by the coziest BGM collection you'll hear all year. The TONAKAI complete soundtrack opens with full J-pop vocal songs like "Summer Strike!!!!!!!!" which is genuinely upbeat and infectious, all bouncy synths and bright energy.
Then it transitions into this long stretch of ambient BGM pieces where tracks like "mellow out" and "Night dew" create this soft, pillowy atmosphere. "Vacillate" sits in between with a more contemplative mood, subtle piano over quiet textures.
The dessert-themed track names are almost too cute. The instrumental versions of the vocal songs round it out nicely, letting you hear the arrangements underneath. If you're into wholesome VN soundtracks that feel like a warm blanket, this one delivers.
