"Hop, Step, Three Fairies" is lighthearted in the best way, bouncing along without ever feeling cheap. "Tomboyish Premonition" carries this forward momentum that makes you want to push deeper into whatever floor you're on.
The Scarlet Mansion tracks shift the tone darker with "Thorns Guard the Rose" adding genuine menace. "Enchanted Library" has that layered, mysterious quality that Touhou does so well. The whole thing moves between cozy and tense without ever losing its thread.
