Dragon Abyss has a cavernous reverb quality that makes you feel underground before any visuals do. The marketplace track has this lively energy, bustling and warm. Then that boss battle theme hits. Completely different register, all tension and weight.
The grand celebration track at the end feels earned after everything before it. Short album but no filler. If you like how Genshin handles regional music but want something with a sci-fi edge, check this one.
