Pure late-90s J-pop energy radiating off every track here. UTAGOE SONG CD is a character vocal album and it absolutely commits to that idol game sound. "Don't stop my luv" has this bouncy synth-pop groove that gets stuck in your head for days, then "Revolution" pivots into something way more intense with driving drums and vocal harmonies that go hard.
"Funky Mimi Marching Song" is exactly as ridiculous as it sounds. Like genuinely fun. The whole thing feels like a time capsule of that era where game-adjacent vocal CDs were their own weird little art form. If you miss the days when character song albums had zero chill, this is your speed.
