More polished and contemplative than its predecessor, and the ballads hit even harder. VOCAL 3 continues Falcom's vocal collection series with eleven tracks that lean deeper into emotional territory. "way of life" opens with this confident, forward-moving energy, but it's "Cumulus" that really floats, all airy vocals and soft instrumentation that sounds like clouds look.

"Yami no Van Buran" goes dark and theatrical, a real tonal curveball in the middle of the set. Then "I swear..." just sits there and makes you feel things you weren't prepared for. "Sora no Kiseki" closing the album feels so deliberate.
If you've been collecting Falcom vocal discs, this third volume is where the arrangements started getting genuinely ambitious.
