Big orchestral fantasy energy right out the gate. Waga Himegimi ni Eikan wo delivers this dramatic, empire-scale score that takes itself seriously in the best way. "Peaceful, Sacred Ground" opens with these reverent strings that immediately build a sense of place, and then "Palace Of The Emperor" layers in brass with real weight behind it.
"Confrontation Called Destiny" goes full battle mode with rapid percussion and surging choir. The thing that surprised me though. "As If It's Ephemeral" is this delicate, almost fragile piece tucked between all the chaos, and it works perfectly as a breather.
"Battle Of Pasion" keeps the intensity locked in right through the end. If you play strategy RPGs for the drama, this score delivers exactly that.
