Pure arcade military energy blasting out of a Konami cabinet. WARTRAN TROOPERS and WORLDCOMBAT pack this double-soundtrack with character themes that actually have personality, which you don't always get from light gun games.

"BLAST OF WIND" goes hard with these urgent brass synths while "Buccho's Theme" has a swagger to it that feels completely out of place for a war game and I kind of love it. The WORLDCOMBAT side leans heavier with tracks like "BATTLE TANK" and "JUNGLE REGION" doing exactly what you'd expect but with that crisp mid-2000s arcade board sound.
Even the jingles hit right. "VICTORY FANFARE" is three seconds of serotonin. If you miss when arcades had their own sound, start here.
