WILD ARMS XF ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK

2007 · PSP

Western frontier grit meets anime strategy RPG and the music absolutely commits to both. Crossfire opens with that signature Wild Arms whistling melancholy that hits every time.

Birds Soaring Over the Battlefield goes full orchestral with this surging brass line that makes grid-based tactics feel genuinely heroic. Then Junpei Fujita sneaks in techno and Eurobeat elements on tracks like CRISIS DIVER, which somehow works.

Four discs of material and almost none of it filler. If you've been sleeping on Wild Arms music because it's a PSP spinoff, you're missing some of the best compositions in the whole series.
