"Messij" still has that relentless drive, layers of acid synth cycling over pounding kicks. "Cold Comfort" pulls into moodier, more atmospheric territory, all reverb and tension. "Body in Motion" is pure dancefloor energy repurposed for anti-gravity racing.
The extended "Messij" cut lets the track breathe past its gameplay loop. These remasters don't modernize the sound so much as clean the window on it. Everything that made 1995 feel like 2052 is still right there. If you played the original on PS1 or Saturn and remember that intro sequence, this remaster will teleport you back.
