"Karen's Pub" has a jazzy looseness to it, upright bass and piano that feel genuinely relaxed. Then "Messala's Scheme" drops into dark, tense territory with low brass and creeping strings. The emotional range tracks like "Affection" and "Loneliness" cover are honestly staggering for a 1997 N64 game.
Just pure mood pieces. If you played the first Wonder Project J and never followed up with the sequel's soundtrack, you're missing the better half.
