This score sounds like a war room that's slowly losing its composure. Michael McCann's work on XCOM: Enemy Unknown layers these tightly wound string ostinatos over low brass that just sits in your chest. "Ready For Battle" has that quiet tension where you're staring at your squad lineup knowing somebody's not coming home.

Then "Hidden Movement" kicks in and it's pure dread, just ambient unease that makes fog of war feel personal. The way it escalates across the three HQ acts is so good. "Depths of the Hive Mind" goes full alien cathedral by the end.
