Slow, atmospheric synths and delicate piano that carry way more emotional weight than you'd expect from a visual novel with this title. Yakin Byoutou Ni's "Cattleya" soundtrack from 2004 sits in this space between calm and deeply unsettling.
"Silent marionette" has this mechanical, repetitive quality with cold synth tones that gets under your skin. "Voiceless sorrow" is just bare piano and sustained pads, stripped down and heavy with it. "Suspicion and conspiracy" shifts into darker textures with low-frequency drones and tense string-like passages that build without ever releasing.
That unresolved tension. "Someday, in the wind" closes things out with this gentle, almost hopeful melody that feels earned after everything else. If you appreciate VN soundtracks that do real emotional lifting with minimal instrumentation, this one's surprisingly effective.
