The 1980s Mode tracks on this volume completely change the feel of Yandere Simulator and it's kind of brilliant. Vol. 2 of the 2021 OST is mostly dedicated to the retro timeline, and the synth work actually commits to the era.

Main Menu (Dark) has this analog warmth layered with tension that sets up Ryoba's story perfectly. Walk to School sounds like it belongs in an 80s Japanese drama. Ai Will Shock You is a full-on in-universe pop performance from the Light Music Club, catchy enough to loop.
Stealth Mission goes tense and minimal, perfect for sneaking around. If you played through 1980s Mode and forgot to check the soundtrack separately, go back and actually listen.
