Every track on this thing sounds like a different continent waking up. JJ Ipsen's second volume of Planet Zoo music is basically a world tour disguised as DLC scores, and it works way too well. "Northern Lights" has this shimmering Arctic stillness that just sits with you, then "Bayou-Diversity" rolls in with lazy brass and humid swamp energy.

The folk instrumentation on "Lappland Folkband" caught me completely off guard. Warm acoustic guitars, fiddle lines, the whole deal. "Gracious Oasis" does that thing where the percussion carries the entire mood without ever getting loud.
