Bright, bubbly acoustic pop that radiates warmth from the opening notes. Yubisaki Connection's 2021 soundtrack is built around "Sunnyscope," this infectious vocal track that gets rearranged into character-specific versions for Yuzuki, Natsuho, Mikoto, and Iori, each one shifting the feel to match their personality.
The BGM tracks have these wonderfully descriptive titles like "Soaking in the Scent of Fresh Lemon" and "Watching Clouds from the Train Window" and they sound exactly like that. Gentle, specific, lived-in. "Secret Letter" has a quieter, more emotional pull to it.
The music box arrange of Sunnyscope is the kind of thing that plays during a scene you weren't ready for. Sweet without being saccharine. If you like romance VN soundtracks with genuine personality, this one's full of it.
