The Trauma Mixes on this thing are what sell it. Zanki Zero: Last Beginning by Spike Chunsoft takes its chill exploration tracks and warps them into something deeply uncomfortable, and the contrast is brilliant. Sky-High Sun starts breezy and warm, then the Trauma Mix version twists the same melody into anxiety.

Scenery in the Blue does the same trick but even harder. The EM tracks (PLEASE DEPOSIT COIN, UPDATE, 1UP!) have this fake-cheerful arcade cabinet personality that gets creepier the longer you play. Sense of Wonder is genuinely beautiful on its own.
Summer Rain too. The whole soundtrack mirrors how the game peels back its colorful surface to reveal something darker underneath. If you liked Danganronpa's tonal shifts, Zanki Zero pushes that concept further.
