The main theme "Golden Olive" features vocalist Asja Kadric and immediately establishes the game's mythological grandeur, while "Nostalgia" brings in the legendary Emi Evans, known for her iconic work on the NieR series, lending the track an otherworldly vocal quality that elevates the entire album.
The boss and area themes are where the soundtrack truly flexes its muscles. "Matriarch of the Woods," "Lord of the Black Streets," and "The Guardian Colossi" each craft distinct atmospheres for their respective encounters, from creeping forest dread to urban menace to titanic scale.
"Butcher of the Saintess" and "The Sole Archon" deliver the kind of intense, high-stakes combat music that gets your blood pumping during the game's toughest fights. Meanwhile, "Bel Canto" and "The Prayer" bring operatic beauty that nods to the Italian musical tradition fitting the game's aesthetic.
"City of the Stars" and "Celestial Temple" capture the wonder of exploring the cursed city of Aphes, balancing awe with an undercurrent of tragedy. "Song of Folks" and "Song of Harpy" provide cultural texture, grounding the fantasy world in something that feels lived-in.
The quieter moments like "A Moment of Peace" and "Northwind" offer essential breathing room between battles. This is a confidently produced soundtrack that punches above the game's mid-tier profile, particularly thanks to those standout vocal performances.
