Piano and strings that sound like a storybook opening itself. Child of Light was Ubisoft's watercolor RPG and Coeur de pirate scored it with this aching folk-classical sensibility that fit perfectly. "Aurora's Theme" is delicate and determined, a girl figuring out she's braver than she thought.

"Jupiter's Lightning" crackles with boss fight tension, and "Metal Gleamed in the Twilight" has this heavy, foreboding weight to it. "Pilgrims on a Long Journey" sets the whole tone, weary feet and wide skies. The way "Funeral Dirge" sits right next to "Patches of Sky" tells you everything about how this game handles grief and hope.
