"Space Ripples" has this slow, massive drift to it, like watching light bend around a star. "Incursions" snaps into combat tension with layered percussion and urgent strings. And "Hello Old Friend" is the track that hits you with unexpected emotion in a game about shooting things in space.
The pacing tells a story. "A New Journey" opens it up. "Shields Down" and "Shots Fired" escalate. "Farewell" closes things out. "Golden Ace" and "Pilgrimage" sit in that space between action and reflection. Cockpit-staring-out-the-window music.
