Bright, cheerful arcade pop with vocal tracks that catch you off guard. Ganbare Untenshi is a 2012 arcade game, and these tracks by Yukiharu Urita and Kazuko Umino give it way more heart than a train-driving cabinet game probably needs.

"Romen densha de GO!" on the stage select has this peppy energy that just makes you want to pick a route and go. "Tasogare iro no sora ni" is a proper vocal ending theme, soft and warm, the kind of thing that rewards you for actually finishing.
It's a small tracklist but every piece has purpose. Even the jingles feel crafted. Worth a listen if you're into arcade soundtracks that care more than they have to.
