"Frozen Ray" brings icy synth textures that feel almost ambient until the rhythm kicks in. Then you get "SENSATION-from SALAMANDER2" which pulls from classic Konami shooter DNA. "Für Elise" is right there alongside original compositions, and somehow it all fits.
The crossover with other Bemani franchises gives this one a wider sonic palette than you'd expect from a niche arcade game. If you want proof that early 2000s arcade music was its own art form, queue this up.
